Empowerment in Art: From School Doodles to Global Platforms in 8 years – Inspired

Hey art enthusiasts! I’m excited to share how I went from doodling in school to winning an international art contest in 2015 for first time. This empowerment journey has truly shaped my artistic endeavors, opening my eyes to the vast opportunities within the world of art.

Surprise Win: Picasso International Watercolor Art Contest

Picture this: it’s 2015, and I’m casually surfing the internet for art ideas. Then, I stumble upon the Picasso International Watercolor Art Contest. Thinking, “Why not?” I send in a watercolor painting I did on regular paper. The wait for results felt forever, but when the day came, I got an email saying I was the GOLDEN ARTIST! I was thrilled!

This global win changed everything. Before, I stuck to local art contests in school. But now, I saw a whole world of opportunities. They even asked for a picture of me holding the Golden Artist Certificate for their website. Seeing my face and art on their platform felt amazing, making me believe in endless possibilities and providing an empowering boost to my artistic journey.

College Days: Facing Fears and Finding Empowering Confidence

As I moved to college, my art journey continued. A standout moment was when my professor and my friend asked me to sketch a scientist Richard Feynman on a big cotton cloth for a fest of our department. I had never made a pencil sketch on a cotton cloth before. So i was not feeling confident. At first, I said no, worried about what classmates might think if it could not be a good sketch. With some encouragement, I took the challenge. When it was done, the positive reactions from my peers boosted my confidence.

Overcoming Doubts: The Scientist Sketch Success

Creating that scientist sketch showed me that leaving my comfort zone led to cool things. It turned out better than I thought, and the support from classmates made me realize that pushing myself could lead to great results.

Exploring More Possibilities : From College to Today

Since then, I’ve been creating more paintings and improving my skills. Now, I’m here sharing a part of my art journey. It proves that taking on challenges and believing in possibilities can lead to amazing things. So, to all budding artists, keep creating and pushing your limits – you never know where your passion might take you!

Exploring Different Ways to Create: Trying New Art Styles

As I kept going with my art journey, I got curious about using more than just watercolors. I started trying out acrylics and oils, and it opened up new ways for me to express my creativity. Each style had its own challenges and joys, helping me learn and add more words to my artistic language.

Art with Friends: Sharing Ideas and Inspiration

I also began working with other artists, joining them in exhibitions and projects. These collaborations showed me different points of view and kept my inspiration flowing. Being part of the art community became a big support, and I started to really feel what artistic empowerment means.

Looking back, my art adventure has been a continuous journey. There were surprising wins, times when I doubted myself, and a lot of different artistic opportunities. Now, as I think about my experiences, I want to tell other artists to grab every chance to learn, push their limits, and trust in the power of their creative work. Art is not just about making something pretty – it’s a way to discover yourself, feel empowered, and keep chasing after beauty.

“One of my absolute favorites for sketching is the Faber-Castell Polychromos. Its rich, warm tone truly brings sketches to life, adding depth and character with every stroke. Highly recommend it for anyone serious about elevating their art!”
